Appointed examiner examining boiler, etc. under maximum permissible working pressure to set safety valve
Whenever, for the purposes of this Ordinance, an appointed examiner is carrying out an examination of a boiler, steam receiver or air receiver under the pressure that will be specified in the certificate of fitness as its maximum permissible working pressure, he shall, by sealing or some other suitable method, ensure that the safety valve is so adjusted as to prevent the boiler, steam receiver or air receiver, as the case may be, from being operated at a pressure greater than that pressure.
