Authority to be notified of sale or hiring of boilers, etc.
The owner of a registered boiler, pressure vessel, other than a pressurized fuel container, or steam container who sells the same or hires it to any person shall, within 7 days of the sale or the agreement for hire, as the case may be, notify the Authority of the name and address of the person to whom the boiler, pressure vessel or steam container, as the case may be, has been sold or hired and, where the boiler, pressure vessel or steam container is not so designed as to be transportable from one place to another, shall also notify the Authority whether or not the sale or hiring has resulted or will result in the removal of the same.
