(1)
In this
Part—
guardian
(
監護人
) means a guardian appointed under or
                acting by virtue of the Guardianship of Minors Ordinance (
Cap.
                    13
);
parent
(
父母
), in relation to a minor, means father or
                mother.
(2)
For the purpose of this Part, a parent of a minor, or a guardian of a ward under 18 years of age, shall be deemed to have an interest in the life of the minor or the ward, as the case may be.
