Apprenticeship Ordinance

(1)
The Chief Executive may, by notice in the Gazette, extend the upper age limit
                in the definition of
young
                    person
in
section 2
from 18 years to an age limit not exceeding 21 years.

(2)
Sections 6
and
7
shall not apply to an employer in respect of a person
who—
(a)
is in his employment in a designated trade at the date when the upper age
                    limit in the definition of
young
                        person
is extended under subsection (1); and
(b)
is included within the definition of
young
                        person
by virtue of the extension,
for so long as the employer continues to employ the young person in that designated trade.
