Trustee Ordinance

(1)
Subsection (2) applies if, before the commencement
                        date

of
section 18
of the 2013 amending Ordinance, a person has been
                    employed or appointed to act as an agent under the repealed
section
                        25(1)
or
                    (3).
(2)
For any period for which the employment or appointment has left to run on
                    or after the commencement
                        date
#
,
                    the person is to be treated as having been authorized to exercise functions as
                    an agent under
section 41B
(and, if appropriate, as also having been
                    appointed under
section 41G
or
41H
to act as a nominee or
                    custodian).
(3)
Subsection (4) applies if, before the commencement
                        date
#
of
section 18
of the 2013 amending Ordinance, a person has been
                    appointed to act as an agent or attorney under the repealed
section
                        25(2)
(power to employ agents or attorney in respect of property
                    outside Hong
                    Kong).
(4)
For any period for which the appointment has left to run on or after the
                    commencement
                        date

,
                    the person is to be treated as having been authorized to exercise functions as
                    an agent under
section 41B
(and, if appropriate, as also having been
                    appointed under
section 41G
or
41H
to act as a nominee or
                    custodian).
