Following;
Order by Deputy High Court Judge K.W. Lung:
Leave to apply for Judicial Review be dismissed.
Observations for the Applicant:
1. The applicant filed Form 86 dated 3 June 2020 for application for leave to apply for judicial review of the Decision dated 18 May 2020 of the Torture Claims Appeal Board (“the Board”)
2. The applicant’s Form 86 is amended to have the Board as proposed respondent and the Director or Immigration as the interested party.
3. By affirmation dated 5 March 2021, the applicant applied to this Court to stop his judicial review application. In his affirmation, he said that he wanted to go back to his own country.
4. It is clear that the applicant has no intention of proceeding with his application. As such, his application should be dismissed.
5. Accordingly, I accede to the applicant’s request and dismiss his application.
