(Summary Assessment of Costs)

1.  On 14 January 2025, this court handed down a Judgment allowing the Petitioner (“H”)’s appeal against Master’s order dated 13 November 2023.  In the Judgment, costs were also granted in favour of H to be summarily assessed, of which I now do.

2.  In his statement of costs, H claims costs in the sum of HK$342,702 (including counsel fee of HK$78,000). The Respondent (“W”)  lodged her list of objections offering HK$147,782.

3.  After considering H’s statement of costs, I now summarily assess H’s costs at HK$200,000, payable by W forthwith.
