REASONS FOR SENTENCE
1. Now, in respect of the partial consumption by you, as raised by counsel on your behalf, I have considered all the circumstances of the case. I rule that all the amount of the dangerous drugs was for the purpose of trafficking.
2. I am going to sentence you on the basis of trafficking 2.82 grammes of heroin.
3. Having considered the tariff as set down by the case of Lau Tak Ming, I adopt a starting point of 2 years plus 3 months’ imprisonment. On your guilty plea, it is reduced to 18 months’ imprisonment.
