Order by Deputy High Court Judge K.W. Lung:
Leave to apply for Judicial Review be dismissed.
Observations for the Applicant:
1. The applicant filed Form 86 dated 24 December 2019 for application for leave to apply for judicial review of the Decision dated 20 December 2019 of the Torture Claims Appeal Board (“the Board”)
2. By affirmation dated 30 March 2021, the applicant applied to this Court to withdraw his judicial review application, saying that his problem in Pakistan has been solved and his mother is suffering from the last stage of cancer. He can go back to his own country.
3. It is clear that the applicant has no intention of proceeding with his application. As such, his application should be dismissed.
4. Accordingly, I accede to the applicant’s request and dismiss his application.
