Hon Poon JA (giving the Decision on Costs of the Court) :
1. This is the summary assessment of the defendant’s costs pursuant to the direction of this Court in our judgment dated 24 August 2016 at [24].
2. In the statement of costs, the defendant’s solicitors claimed a total amount of HK$68,205 as their profit costs. In our view, the amount claimed in the following items is grossly excessive :

4. The total profit costs allowed is HK$26,705.00.
