COURT: Leung Ka-po, you stand convicted on your own plea of guilty of one charge of trafficking in a dangerous drug. The drugs involved are 27.23 grammes of a crystalline solid containing 27.11 grammes of methamphetamine hydrochloride.
I consider that the appropriate starting point for this count to be in the region of 7½ years' imprisonment. I have taken into account everything ably urged on your behalf in mitigation, particularly your plea of guilty. I think that a discount reducing the sentence to one of 5 years is appropriate.
I therefore sentence you to 5 years' imprisonment.
