1.  By Decision handed down on 24 March 2023[1], I dismissed P’s appeal, with costs against him (then on a nisi basis, which has not be varied) to be assessed summarily.

2.  In respect of D1’s costs, I agree that some of the items are excessive, in particular C3, D2 and E2.  On a broad brush basis, I summarily assess D1’s costs at HK$200,000.

3.  D2, who appeared in person, has not lodged any Statement of Costs, which I take to mean that he is not seeking any.

4.  I make no further costs order in respect of the present exercise.
